Thanks, Leah. Very palpable and in touch with the reality of our lives and death. Karl made good choices in the face of his (and our) inevitable death. Very nice and such a contrast to the political falsehoods that surround our lives.
Thank you, George. There is nothing like the immediacy of a saying goodbye to bring into focus the beauty and goodness a human soul can offer this world.
What a beautiful tribute to a life well-lived. Your tribute to Karl reminds us to be kind…little acts of kindness can make a difference. Sending you hugs as you miss your sweet friend. Ellen
What a deeply beautiful eulogy. I'm so sorry for the hole in your life his passing left.
One little thing as a suggestion:
PICK UP LITTER! It could start w/ one empty coffee cup or a candy wrapper. As I kid I was a litterbug. Now as an old fart on the cusp of 65, I always, ALWAYS make sure I leave my route better than it was when I started.
This is beautiful, and deeply moving. My condolences. I'm sincerely sorry for your loss. You've done a beautiful job remembering this cherished friendship. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and remembrances. Sincerely, Frederick

Just a thought.
Again, great job.

Thank you, Jim. And thank you for adding your thoughts (and actions!) on leaving the paths we're walking better than we found them.
